trying to bring beauty and order into a busy life

I am a publicly confessed Washi Tape lover . The variety of designs and colours available in the market makes it perfect for any project. It is ideal for a quick update (remember the mirror?) and adding personality to anything. It provides instant results – my kind of product. Are you sold yet?

For a while I used it a lot. I mean, really a lot! I think at one point Mr B thought I was going to washi tape the house. There was an intervention… I took a step back and now I only use it once a month… I promise…

I wanted to share with you some of my favourite washi tape project from my own house. There are more… there will be more… at least one a month…

1. A FLOOR LAMP – This lamp was all white and , although I didn’t want a huge change, I thought it needed something else. This floral washi tape gives the lamp a subtle romantic hint without being intrusive.Washi Tape Floor Lamp

2. A NIGHT LIGHT – I covered a jam jar with some colourful washi tape and put some fairy lights inside. It is perfect  as a night light in the boys room or in the garden in those lovely summer evenings.Washi Tape Night light

3. NOTEBOOK – Not only it decorates the front of an otherwise very normal notebook, but I also used it to divide it into sections.Washi Tape Notebook

4. BUNTING – It is easy, it is quick, and it adds a whimsical touch to any corner.Washi Tape Bunting

5.  PLASTIC CUTLERY – A very normal plastic cutlery will look amazing with some washi tape. It is perfect for adult parties or picnics. Washi tape covered cutlery

6 . CARDBOARD LETTERS – Try using washi tape on cardboard letters instead of painting them or to add some pattern or design after painting them. I did both.Washi Tape Letters
